Pent Up Walks
A new set of walks is to be funded by the THI. The Pent Up walks booklet is being produced in cooperation with the Folkestone Fringe. The name is derived from the walks around the town focusing on areas uphill from the culverted River Pent that runs underneath Tontine Street and exits into to the harbour.
There will be 5 or 6 walks with some focused purely in and around the THI conservation area and others venturing further afield to Dover, Hythe and the hills around Folkestone. All of the walks will begin or terminate at the already very popular Harbour Arm with historical information and points of interest labelled and described.
